Registration is now open for the 2021 Texas Demographic Conference. The conference is conducted by the Texas Demographic Center at the University of Texas at San Antonio, the lead agency in the Texas State Data Center Network, which partners with the U.S. Census Bureau to disseminate demographic and socio-economic information.

This year’s conference will be virtual and held on three half-days from June, 8th - 10th with webinars scheduled in the afternoon. Statewide and regional experts will come together to discuss Texas demographics, census programs, and operations.

Agenda topics include:

  • Texas State and Local Population Trends
  • Texas Demographic Center Projection Series and Texas Water Development Board Watershed Level Population Estimates and Projections
  • Census Geography
  • Differential Privacy
  • Census Count Question Resolution Program (CQR)
  • Implications on Proposed Urban Area Delineation Changes
