Multigenerational households are family households consisting of 3 or more generations.

Hispanic households in TX are more than twice as likely as Non-Hispanic households to have 3 or more generations of a family living together with variations among detailed ethnic groups.

The Texas Hispanic population has made progress in higher educational attainment over the last decade.

The proportion of the Hispanic population aged 25 years or older with an Associate’s Degree or higher grew from 17% in 2012 to 26% in 2022.

Texas' Hispanic population hit 12 million in 2022, becoming the state's largest demographic group and a key driver of population growth in the last 50 years.

Ethnically rich, the fastest growth has come among those with origins in Mexico, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, and Honduras.
