The data provides detailed projections of Texas' residential population by age, sex, and race/ethnicity for each year from 2020 to 2060 across all counties in Texas. These projections will be available under multiple migration scenarios.

Texas’ population is aging faster than the national average, but the state is still seeing growth in its child population. Dr. Lloyd Potter warned that a shrinking labor force due to aging could slow Texas' economic growth.
